A Letter About God and Decreed Actions of Men That Are Wicked—-To MAN’s Eye

ONLY the Mature Elect See God's Justice

1)   Does God decree “bad” things to happen and what we see as wicked behaviors in men?

Answer:  Yes.  God created mankind with a moral
responsibility; in other words they are responsible according to justice to do
the morally righteous thing before God.
God’s objective, through all that is occurring, is to glorify
himself.  This means that all of his
majestically perfect, majestically righteous, majestically powerful and
majestically sovereign attributes or qualities are meant to be revealed and to
be glorified before all his creation in ALL he decrees to occur.  One of his qualities, helping define his
righteousness and holiness as well as showing contempt, disgust and wrath upon
anyone who deviates from that righteousness and holiness, is his paramount
quality of Justice.  Justice is the Good
Attribute of God Glorified in the creation of men capable of unrighteousness in
the line of Adam who originally fell from a righteous heart. For God to be
glorified, mankind must be capable of witnessing and understanding these
qualities in God and magnifying them in their hearts and souls, unto his glory;
thus he also created a plan for Salvation through the Covenant of Grace so that
an Elect portion of mankind could be Saved a participate in the Regeneration of
the heavens and the earth to righteousness. They will see THROUGH the ignorance

to the TRUE Righteousness brought out even in the most supposedly horrid circumstances……..

Justice is defined by use a standard of measure to assess morally responsible creations’
actions on all levels of being, including thought.  This standard
of measure
is the perfect manifestation or example of that comprehensive
moral quality of God, which makes justice, and all God’s other excellencies,
the good attributes of God which they are.
That standard of measure is God’s Righteousness, called by
other names in Scripture; always alluding though, to God’s righteousness.  The following other words are used for God’s
righteousness; the first and foremost term, which God gave man, to reveal his
righteousness with the clarity provided by behavioral example, is the Law of
God; other terms include: God’s Character, Truth, Way and Life.

God predestined the fall of Adam and thus mankind in the
Garden and by creating a moral being with a mutable (changeable) righteousness/nature
(Adam) as mankind’s overall Covenant Representative.  Adam was created as the initial progenitor of
all mankind and thus Adam was to pass down through his progeny, the
righteousness/nature he was first allotted in the Garden of Eden.  The righteousness Adam had in his nature gave
him the ability to act in all circumstances according to God’s law from the
heart or the core or the nature of his being but as I said, unlike the immutable
(unchangeable) righteousness/nature of the angels who did NOT fall with Satan,
his righteousness was mutable or able to be LOST.  It all depended on Adam, not Adam AND Eve, because
Adam was responsible as a husband, for Eve’s wellbeing, and he
was RIGHT THERE when Eve was listening to Satan!

Genesis 3:6 (ESV) 6 So when the woman saw that the tree
was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was
to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also
gave some to her husband who was with
her
, and he ate.

Now, God gave Adam the nature that he had and created the reality
(the world) required for Adam to live out the decisions according to that mutable
righteous nature he had been given, so of course God predestined and knew very
well what Adam would do and that he would fall.
The point is, God ALWAYS meant to use this evil to bring about a Great Righteousness
in the Salvation of man through God’s Selfless Sacrifice and to bring Glory to His
Goodness. Shortly thereafter the fall, the first mention of the gospel of
Christ is made:

Genesis 3:15 (ESV) 15 I will put enmity between you and
the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your
head, and you shall bruise his heel.”

You see, in Adam’s fall was generated the beginning of the
glorification of God’s love, grace, selflessness, mercy, patience,
faithfulness, power, immutability, brilliance in the glorification of his
Son…..

God’s plan begins to unfold to the glorification of ALL his
attributes throughout the history of mankind.
This includes creating natures in ALL these fallen men which are either  1- Elected unto seeing the depths of God’s
grace and mercy in justification unto new Righteousness/Life through the
perfect life, death and resurrection of God’s perfect Son; or 2- those left in
the unrighteousness passed on through Adam’s initial fall from righteousness, and
these will be judged to the glory of God’s Justice
as they are visited by God’s wrath here on Earth or in the age to come.  But there is more; these reprobate natures in
unrepentant fallen man give opportunity for Jesus Christ’s love as a Husband to
his Bride the Church, to be shown in his protective and gracious Providence
against the reprobate that would harm his Bride; the fall of the Roman Empire
showed that, as after rivers of Christian martyr’s blood was spilled from 100
to 300 A.D., then Constantine conquered Rome after a vision of the first two
letters of Christ’s name in Greek.  He
had those letters painted on the shields of his warriors and defeated a much
larger force.  He made Christianity legal
and gave Christians protection from then on until the rise of the Roman
Catholic Church and it started to spill TRUE Christian blood again as it
degenerated into an evil even worse than the Roman Empire; the Roman Catholic
Church HATED the Scriptures and kept them from the people because they took
power from the Pope who they claimed as “god” on earth.  I will teach you what happened in the
Reformation Fergus, and you will be amazed by the Providence of Jesus Christ.

As God gives the reprobate his nature, the reprobate lives
life out in freedom to do as he wills according to the predestined nature that
God gave him, but you must understand that God created his nature and the
reality that makes him able to will anything or to carry out that will, so God
is sovereign over all unto His Glory in ALL things.  Just because God creates and generates ALL
things as an absolutely sovereign God , does not preclude/prevent him from:

1) Making man predestined fully by God to do all that man
does by giving him the nature God desires him to have and

2) Making man at the same time free to do according to the
man’s nature which God gave him

3) Making the man morally responsible for all his actions to
God BY THE STANDARD OF GOD’s RIGHTEOUSNESS/GOD’s LAW.

Let’s look at an example where Israel’s northern kingdom was
being judged by God for IDOLATRY.  God
used the Assyrian Army to punish them, led by their King.  The Assyrians were a blood thirsty people who
lived off the treasures they acquired from constant war and murder of millions
of people.  The Assyrian King thought he
was doing ONLY exactly what he wanted to do, which he was, according to his
nature, but at the same time God was using him to punish the northern Israel
kingdom for worshiping false gods.  In
addition, God would then judge Assyria for attacking his people Israel and this
is perfectly justified by God and perfectly righteous BUT we do not understand
the fullness of how one thing is justified against another and vice versa, but
God is always perfect in righteousness AND THIS WE CAN ALWAYS TRUST…..

Isaiah
10:5-19 (ESV)

[God speaks
of using Assyria as a Rod to punish Israel]

5Ah,
Assyria, the rod of my anger; the staff in their hands is my fury! 6 Against a godless nation I send him, and
against the people of my wrath I command him, to take spoil and seize plunder,
and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.

[God reveals that the King of Assyria does not know that
he’s being used by God but is acting freely according to his own nature, as you
see in the King’s language]

7 But
he does not so intend, and his heart does not so think; but it is in his heart
to destroy, and to cut off nations not a few; 8
for he says: “Are not my commanders all kings? 9 Is not Calno like Carchemish? Is not Hamath
like Arpad? Is not Samaria like Damascus? 10 As
my hand has reached to the kingdoms of the idols, whose carved images were
greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria, 11
shall I not do to Jerusalem and her idols as I have done to
Samaria and her images?”

[God speaks of judging the King of Assyria for attacking
Israel, as punishment for his bloodthirsty actions, pride and arrogance which
you see in the King’s language– God judges him even though God was using  the Assyrian King’s bloodthirsty nature/Unrighteousness,
to punish Israel]

12 When
the Lord has finished all his work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, he will
punish the speech of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria and the boastful
look in his eyes. 13 For he says:
“By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom, for I have
understanding; I remove the boundaries of peoples, and plunder their treasures;
like a bull I bring down those who sit on thrones. 14 My hand has found like a nest the wealth of the
peoples; and as one gathers eggs that have been forsaken, so I have gathered
all the earth; and there was none that moved a wing or opened the mouth or
chirped.”

[God speaks of his absolute sovereignty over the King of
Assyria and God’s disgust with the Kings attitude and finally God speaks of the
judgment that will fall on the King of Assyria for his actions and attitude]

15 Shall
the axe boast over him who hews with it, or the saw magnify itself against him
who wields it? As if a rod should wield him who lifts it, or as if a staff
should lift him who is not wood! 16 Therefore
the Lord GOD of hosts will send wasting sickness among his stout warriors, and
under his glory a burning will be kindled, like the burning of fire. 17 The light of Israel will become a fire,
and his Holy One a flame, and it will burn and devour his thorns and briers in
one day. 18 The glory of his
forest and of his fruitful land the LORD will destroy, both soul and body, and
it will be as when a sick man wastes away. 19 The
remnant of the trees of his forest will be so few that a child can write them
down.

—– Fergus, God can take any disaster which he has decreed
and create unfathomable goodness from it.
I took care of cancer victims for a year and a half.  In the midst of their dying I saw families
come together after years of being apart and relationships reformed in love and
forgiveness come to a family that NEVER would have seen each other in love like
that again, if the CANCER had not come.
When my wicked dad was about to do something cruel to my family because
I cut him off in 2010 when he tried to start controlling my family, God struck
him with a brain tumor and he was dead in three months. My family is closer
than EVER.  Some of the most lasting and
beautiful relationships on Earth, between people who would otherwise have never
met, are formed during war… God does so much more good in love, hope,
perseverance, kindness, compassion, charity, honor, selflessness etc.  in disaster, tragedy and difficult times than
anyone but a Mature Christian will ever know.

[God speaking of the disasters HE decreed for the King of
Assyria to do]

Isaiah 37:26-27 (ESV) 26
‘Have you not heard that I determined it long ago? I planned from days of old
what now I bring to pass, that you should make fortified cities crash into
heaps of ruins, 27 while their
inhabitants, shorn of strength, are dismayed and confounded, and have become
like plants of the field and like tender grass, like grass on the housetops, blighted
before it is grown.

[The following verse is about Cyrus, king of Persia whom God
used to destroy Babylon and freed the Jews to go back to their homeland after
their captivity in Babylon for 70 years.
Cyrus was a pagan who destroyed MUCH, but God used him to destroy the
Babylonian Empire SO HIS PEOPLE COULD BE FREED]

Isaiah 45:1-2 (ESV) 1 Thus says the LORD to his anointed,
to Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped, to subdue nations before him and to
loose the belts of kings, to open doors before him that gates may not be
closed: 2 “I will go before you
and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and
cut through the bars of iron,

Fergus, God is wondrous beyond all imagination….  Always good, always glorious always arrayed
in righteousness and the beauty of love.
Wickedness occurs but you will find as you grow as a Mature Christian,
that it is always in the end, for the good of his people, for the glory of his
Justice and the magnification of his splendor that all may know the Good and
Glorious Master, Husband and King Jesus Christ….

ALWAYS REMEMBER….

Isaiah 55:6-11 (ESV) 6 “Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon
him while he is near; 7 let the
wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to
the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will
abundantly pardon. 8 For my
thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the
LORD. 9 For as the heavens are
higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts
than your thoughts. 10 “For as the
rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the
earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to
the eater, 11 so shall my word be
that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall
accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I
sent it.
